I’m very happy with the R&G Radiator Guard I purchased for my GSX-S1000. In terms of fit and protection, I think it works very well. I drive to work on a freeway that has trucks hauling things such as rock and gravel which oftentimes fall off. I’m not a fan of those hitting my radiator at 70 MPH. The mesh guard fits the bike very well and only the tiniest pebble flying straight on could get through it. R&G thankfully used extra existing holes below where the radiator is fastened to attach the guard to the bike so no drilling required! The only issue was that I had to bend the top brackets on the guard in a little bit in order to slide it past the radiator and into position. Thankfully the brackets were easy enough to bend back so they fit the corresponding mounting holes. Other than that it went on really easily. Taking the fairing off my bike was way more involved than installing the guard. If you have a naked this should be a breeze! Would absolutely buy again for another bike.
