R&G Racing Radiator Guard for Honda VFR1200F ’10-’14

This is a very attractive and functional add-on to my VFR1200f, although the instructions weren’t too good. Fortunately, it’s kind of intuitive, even for a non-mechanic like me. I don’t have a shop with a lift to do the work – just a concrete floor, a sore back and fingers, and lots of cussin’. I guess the adhesive-backed sponge buffers are necessary, but the extra thickness made it nearly impossible to re-attach the radiator frame. Also, I broke one of the clips that hold the frame to the fairing, and somehow lost a nut-clip that one of the bolts connects to. Fortunately, there’s Honda Parts Nation, with breakdown drawings of everything. Find the parts, add it to your cart and check out. $6,29 plus shipping. Still, even with the minor hassles, this is an attractive investment, kind of like insurance.
