    Good looking but no protection

One screw install makes it simple to put on, but the guard is designed more for looks and kicked up debris from a back road rather than a drop. I’ll be drilling a hole in the right side for a second mount point to make it more rigid in case of a tip over. However, your exhaust and any luggage racks are going to protect it more than this guard will ever be called on to do in a crash/slide situation. But one tall rock or log in the wrong spot when the bike goes down at low speed and the rear brake is out.

    Looks very cool...very little protection!

A great way to hide the ugly plastic reservoir! It only mounts with one screw and pretty much would not protect anything in a crash or tip over. Still looks cool on the bike!

    Fits nicely

Good fit. Would not be a bad idea to install some thin rubber pads on the inside to prevent any contact wear with the reservoir. Stainless hardware would have earned this an extra star. Included fastener is ugly and doesn’t blend with the other hardware on the bike. I’ll be changing out the screw for a stainless button head or cap screw.
