Description

R&G Aero Style Front Frame Sliders help protect the frame fairing motor and radiator from damage in the event of a drop or crash.

  • No modifications to the fairing or bodywork is necessary.
  • Stylish and aerodynamic teardrop shaped bobbins.
  • Removable end caps to hide fittings.
  • High-density durable and replaceable nylon bobbins.
  • High-tensile steel bolts are de-embrittled to bend rather than snap upon impact.
  • Used by the some of the worlds top race teams.

The protector itself is machined from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) – chosen because as it wears it actually helps to slow a sliding bike. The bolts used are also de-embrittled steel; working as a shock absorber to bend instead of snapping or staying rigid – which could twist the mounting point.

R&G Aero Front Frame Sliders for FZ-09

    Augie

I wanted protection for a tip over/ or worse. Looked around and decided on the R&G Aero Frame Sliders. I think they blend well with the look of the FZ-09, and they are very easy to install. When Twisted Throttle came up as a vendor I placed my order with confidence. I’ve seen them at Americade for a couple of years and they are first class. Very happy with product and service!!!!

    They work

    CraSh

Went down at about 30mph. I have the Aero sliders and the rear axle protectors. They took a beating but the bike survived with minimal scratches and i was able to ride home. So yeah they definitely work.

needs to go back to the drawing broad

    randy

they look nice but they also don’t stick far enough to protect the bike if it went down
