Question: I’ve seen these bars on the first generation Triumph Scrambler air cooled 865 (2004 to 2016), and there is even a YouTube video of a guy installing them on his 2014 Scrambler 865 without making any modifications. Is there a reason why the first generation Triumph Scrambler 865 (2004-2016) is not listed as a compatible bike?? Will these bars fit the Scrambler 865??

    Great piece of kit

    James Howorth

Easy 20-25 minute installation, well designed product, attached my highway pegs and can now ride in comfort on those 400 mile days instead of wanting my legs amputated
Thanks for an amazing product, fits the triumph very well

    Fits great

    JonM

Had a little problem with one bolt. Would not thread properly (faulty threading) but easily found a replacement bolt locally for under $2, so no big problem. Looks great. Was able to mount it with my ignition re-location bracket after modifying the bracket to fit under the mounting point like a spacer (left hand side – Joker ignition relocation bracket). Overall, makes me feel a little safer if the bike were to drop.

great bars, but limits additional options

    rkevwill

Great crash bars, heavy duty, will do their job well. Problem is, it does limit you being able to install a steering damper, and most bash plates. They use the same mounting points.

    great protection

    dntower85

I chose these bars do to the three point mounting points on each side. Most of the crash bars (including the factory dress bars) just have two mounting points and will just fold back if the bike is dropped while moving. The fit and finish was perfect, no bending or drilling out holes was needed to fit to the frame. I added some Hwy Pegs to the bars, after a test ride I decided to move the pegs, I was afraid the clamps might of scratched the finish but the finish is tough and did not scratch.

    Well made, fit well

    TerryW

The bars are of good quality and well made. Instructions are sufficient, but make sure you have loctite and a torque wrench on hand.

    Fit like a glove

    crispell

Engine guards came in quickly and installed per the directions and easily. They are rock solid with 3 connection points on each side. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I was missing one metric #10 stainless washer. Luckily the local hardware store had it and the job was completed shortly thereafter. This is my wife’s bike and I wanted to add some protection.
