    Good Crash Guard.....Odd size

    Fly canuk

This crash guard fits good and looks great but the narrow pipe diameter makes it hard to mount generic highway pegs forcing you to buy sw-motech brand or custom fab your own.

Look great, they scratch but, nothing damaged.

    KELinCO

After riding way back I got jealous of my friend for taking a month in Canada and the NW etc. in summers and bought a Triumph Tiger 800 used low miles and looking perfect. After the motorcycle for me, re-training safety course I starting riding the bike in a beautiful CO back country highway… got it up to 6th gear and said, “hey I remember this! COOL! No problem… .”
Few rides after that, I came to the end of a country road that suddenly went up turning 90 degree to the left turned into dirt and stopped at a trail head. I was so happy on that summer ride on a back road I had never been on before that the change in the road surprised me and I stopped while trying to shift gears and the bike goes down on the left side leaning down pretty sharply. I was moving maybe 1mph backward at the time. I was not hurt, no one was around and… I could not quite get the bike up but a farmer comes along, “what… happened?” “New rider… sort of.” I was embarrassed. We got the bike up and yes the bars took a little beating, scratches but no damage to the bike. I bought them after talking to many guys who said, “… you really only fall when going very slowly or even hardly moving when you star riding.” Glad I bought the bars! And yes they look cool.

Very aesthetically pleasing fit. Looks awesome!

    wmFX

These bars are a really nice fit and go really well with the curves of the bike.
Now I haven’t dropped the bike yet so I can’t say for certain they’ll definitely protect, but they look like they’ll definitely protect the side of the tank and covers. I’m really happy withe purchase!

    crashbars

Bought these awhile back, looked like a good product and they are. Very well made, my son installed these for me for fathers day, had zero problems. Will look forward to putting some footpegs on them for long distance trips. Am sure they will add to tip over or crash protection

    Sharp looking!

    Mike

Bought these about a month ago after dropping my bike. Install was fairly easy. They look great except where the bars clamp in the middle. I just think they could have done a better job instead of a crush clamp.

    They Work!

    findlj

I have a 2012 Tiger 800 XC and had these mounted up before I even rode the bike. I’ve owned the bike for two years and dropped the bike twice in low speed crashes. The SW Motech crash bars protected everything both times. My friend and dealer recommended these to me when I bought the bike and he said other customers had tried these out to their full extent ( not exactly sure what that meant, but I’m assuming some good crashes) with excellent results.
Bottom Line: I think these are look and work great. I can testify they’re well designed and strongly built. Highly recommended.

    SW-Motech crashbars

    Fable52

You need at least a 18″ extension, metric hex sockets and a jointed socket. Also a extra set of hands makes the job go much easier. Shape and design of SW-Motech crash bars fits the curves of my 2014 Triumph Tiger adding to the overall appearance of the motorcycle . It protects the plastic bits at the sides of radiator and bottom of fuel tank . Overall very pleased with the appearance and the protection the it offers Highly recommended especially if you’re going to do any off-roading .
