    Perfect Fit!

I bought these for my ’15 Z1000 as most frame sliders offered look horrible, or are severely overpriced… Kawasaki I’m looking in your direction. Shipping was fast, price was awesome, and Twisted Throttle was easy to deal with.

    Best Money Ever Spent

    GHall

These things are the real deal. Crashed tested at the track and they held up beautifully. Protected the bike from thousands in damage. Very well built. These bars drew a lot of attention even from track riders. In fact, they held up so well in the crash I just slapped some paint over the impact areas and kept going.

They mount to the engine mounts so you know there won’t be any frame bending going on. These don’t “fold over” like other, weaker crash bars do but are properly mounted to the frame to prevent damage to the frame tabs too. Seriously the best bang for you buck in terms of crash protection for your Z.

If twisted has these back in stock anytime soon I’ll definitely be picking up a second set as a spare!

    Very Pleased

Happy with everything about it. It is a pretty penny to spend on peace of mind. However, it is a much better option than a couple of sliders. They look great!

    It worked!

I crash tested them and they saved the engine from damage. They were a little bent in, but the engine was untouched. Getting a second set to replace them.

    Great crash cage!

    Francois

The installation is quite easy (you will need a torque wrench) and the cages look great.
I also use them as a footrest when riding longer distances.
I low-sided my bike with these cages on, the cage took most of the damage, my grip and turn signal got damaged, but the rest was fine. Saved my bike from being stranded.
