  1. G650GS 2014

    Solid!!

    G650GS 2014

Look great. Very solid. Blend nicely with the bike. Easy install and did not interfere with a happy trails skid plate.

Look strong. Hopefully they never will be tested

The bars bolted up fairly quickly after I figured out the IKEA style (pictures only) instructions. I also found out there was one spot on my TT belly pan that needed trimmed away to allow the SWMT bars to mount (5 minutes with a Dremel tool).
The bike is a 2013 Sertao

Well designed and super sturdy...German engineered

I hope I never need it but it mounted up effortlessly on my G650GS and features a 3 point attachment design which in my mind is better than all the rest with only two bolts.

    Best bars for G650GS

    petehemlock

I got these to replace a set from another manufacturer whose welds aren’t exactly strong. I was immediately impressed with the quality, the ruggedness and the design of the SW Motech bars. The pipes are thick. The fit is perfect. And I like the way the design gives the bike a fuller look up front like a bull. Install was easy enough. Compared to other makers’ designs, these are everything I wanted. It’s important to emphasize the 3 solid mounting points where the others use only 2. Hugely satisfied. Also note I ride the Sertao model and they fit just right. There are a few nice options for mounting lights as well.

    Beefy bars!

    Mazurekphoto

These are your typical SW Motech high quality, bomber proof construction.

The install was easy and they provide plenty of protection. This matched with a heavier duty skid plate seem to be the best option for the Sertao. The bars bolt on in places and do not float like the Touratwch upper and crash bars.

I am very pleased with tthe purchase. Twisted throttle was great to do business with as well.
