These bars look good, and seem like they are very strong.
Installation was fairly easy (I’m not exceptionally mechanically inclined, but I can follow the instructions) and I was able to install these bars by myself; no second pair of hands is truly needed, although it would be helpful when torquing the front engine mounting bolts.
I found that you may need to mount the bars, and torque everything to spec, without installing the bodywork, so you can get the bars lined up correctly. Then loosen the rear mounting bolts and remove the 4 bolts (2 per side) that fasten the lower part of the bars to front engine mounts. This allows you to rotate the fully assembled bars out of the way so you can install the bodywork.
If you install the bodywork first (per the instructions) it will be difficult to get at the front mounting bolt to torque it down.
My install took about an hour, but I had already removed the bodywork for another project.
The only thing I would change about these bars is the color. They look good, but it would be nice if they matched the color of the stock lower engine guards.

Sw tech crash bars. These arrived in a timely manner. The fitting was not as straight forward as the front engine mount nut was harder to get to as it’s sunk into the frame. Over all they look and fill good in hope I don’t need to try them out.

Wouldn't want to ride without them

I put these crash bars on my 17 XCA Explorer and they are great as long as you put dampening washers where metal meets the frame or you’ll get an unwanted vibration. But my experience might differ. I like the bars, they give me more confidence on the road and trails in case I go down. I wouldn’t want to ride without them.

Awesome product installation was easy. Two people needed for installment due to removal of engine mounting bolts.
