Not only do they look great but they work great too! From a stop I lost my footing and had to set the bike down, the bike set right on the crash bar until I could get help lifting the bike, a little black touch up paint and it’s like new again

I’ve had these on my bike for about a month now. I’m very happy. Luckily I haven’t had any field testing first hand. However, based on the location I have full confidence in this product. The only issue is getting the fairings off, they don’t come off. You can still work around it, so it’s really just a minor inconvenience but not a deal breaker.

Was excited about these Givi crashbars as they seem to be the most popular for the Vstrom.
The initial assembly steps went pretty effortlessly once I was able to get the original chassis bolt out…..a bit difficult due to the loctite.
But once I got to the final assembly step of joining the two main bars together, I found that the bolt was too short to join these pieces. If I left off the rubber O-rings used on the joiner, then the bolt would reach but this resulted in a fair amount of vibration and rattle at different RPM’s.
I purchase a longer bolt (M8-45) from my local automotive shop, put the O-rings on and also slapped on some silicone sealant on the joiner. Vibration and rattling gone.

I recently purchased a set of Givi crash bars for my DL 1000, have them installed, which was rather simple to do, and they work great. I used twisted throttle because they had the best price I could find on line.
