Worst fitment and instructions on these crash bars I think I have ever experienced. QA from the factory was terrible. I have owned and worked on motorcycles for over 40 years. On a project like this I know enough to not tighten bolts until last step when everything is assembled. Though these crash bars are sturdy and look great, they were a nightmare to install. First thought was 8 bolts, no problem. Maybe 30 minutes to install. Over 3 hours later it was complete. Instructions are just pictures. No written instructions. First few assembly steps, no problem. Then, you get to the step where you mount the bars to the frame, and the mount point on the bars are almost 2 inches out of alignment. I disassemble everything to bend the mounting point to the right place. Not an easy task. Reassemble everything. Get to final step where you see diagram of installing a connector between the bars. Have to disassemble one side to get connector in place. Reassemble again. Now mounts on front of motor does not align. Disassemble again. Bend mounts to alignment. Reassemble everything again. Finally, everything is together and I have scratches on the frame of my new bike and the crash bars. I would have sent these back if I had anticipated all the assembly problems I was going to encounter, but I was too stubborn to give up. Two stars because of the install, but they are pretty sturdy and look good. Let the buyer beware!
