Looks good, but fails to function in tip over.

They are pricy, they looks good (stout), but failed to fuction. Had my tip over on the drive, while pushing the heavy Triumph SE. The tip over cause the welded plate on the right crash bar to bend, damaging the foot brake lever. The crash bars, although iit looks good, but failed to futon as it’s intended.

R&G Adventure bars for Triumph Trophy SE

I am quite happy with the bars, but they are very expensive and the only game in town. I installed them easily enough, with the exception of the top left motor mount. Once I removed it to install the bracket there was no room to fit the bolt back in due to the electrical bundle and the rad hose. I had to push it through from the other side and bolt it that way. R&G have still not corrected the recorded blog issue with the left hand bracket extending a half inch too much, making the left side stick out further than the right. Not a big deal, but it bugs me.

Well designed feature for Trophy 2013

I purchased this from Japan and it took only 3 days to be delivered. This guard is well designed and fit for Triumph Trophy SE.

Well designed and made, hugely over-priced.

These crash bars for the Triumph Trophy are well designed and built. I had no issues installing them, the instructions were reasonably clear and everything fit as intended. BUT, compared to crash bars from other manufacturers for comparable bikes like the FJR1300, these are massively over-priced. Are they worth it? That’s an individual decision. I got them in order to mount a set of Baker-Built Air Wings to get some airflow to my body on hot days. Without that, the Trophy becomes a beast to ride in hot weather, due to the excellent wind protection. For this purpose, the R&G bars are the only game in town.
