SD Vulcan –
I just installed these last night onto my girlfriend’s 2018 Kawasaki Vulcan S and it couldn’t have been easier or more straightforward. The English directions are well written (can’t vouch for other languages) and the instructions are easy to follow. Step-by-step instructions are complemented with pictures showing the process.
The hardware that comes with these are high quality, grade 8.8, electro-plated zinc. Nothing needs to be removed from the bike to install, and it all fits together like it came from the factory. The whole installation probably took me about 45 minutes, taking my time.
Fit and finish of the bars is perfect. The stick out far enough to protect the gas tank in the event of a low-side, but not so much as to look silly. Be advised: the rear bar on each side will crowd both the brake pedal and the shifter slightly. Your boot is likely going to be rubbing against this part of the bar, so the coating is going to see some wear.

I’m not especially mechanical but these were a very straightforward installation. They look good and protect the engine, but do not extend out as far as many I’ve seen on other bikes, so they may not protect much if you drop your bike or protect your legs if you fall over in an accident.

These will work on a 2020 model, correct?

Nice set of bars to put you a extra set highway pegs on there nky to hard to put on took me about hour and fourth five min to get bars and pegs on and that’s with having to take take one side off again because I forgot to put trim back on three the pipe before I bolted on and I took a little more time to loosin brake bolts so I could get Allen wrench in straighter to tighten he bolt up after it’s all done it does look good and mounted solid on bike
