I recently put some TRex sliders on my Monster, and these pale in comparison. The nut that holds the sliders is just threaded on both ends, with nylock nuts to hold the sliders. Problem is, when you’re holding one nut and trying to tighten the other, then the first nut turns. Probably best to blue locktite one nut and let it set for 15 minutes, and then afterward install the sliders. Oh, these would be better if you could use a swingarm stand on them (like my TRex sliders) because once they’re on there’s no way to use a stand on the bike. I’d like these better if they were $40, they’re overpriced for what they are. That said, they look nice enough once they’re on the bike, but the Home Depot hardware is a let-down.
