Robust aluminum blocks are CNC machined for precision fit and hard anodized for an attractive appearance with improved corrosion resistance. These protective cotton reels are made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is the same impact absorbing and abrasion resistant material utilized in the successful R&G frame sliders. By mounting in conjunction with the rear axle strength is significantly improved to defend against impacts over similar sliders that thread into delicate aluminum.
