Ben –
A little pricey but once you get this dialed in the cleaning and oiling if the chain pretty much takes care of itself. Well worth it for a daily cyclist. I do recommend getting the dual nozel and tossing out the zip tie attachments and replacing them with metal pipe clamps. But love it now that it’s all mounted. Then electrics were easy to set up and it’s nice to have a thermometer and clock on the bars now.

I’ve put about 500 miles on this oiler and I really like it. Compared to the V-system its much easier to install and set up the drip rate. The best part is that once the rate is set it won’t change with ambient temperature as the V-system does so no need to change to a different oil in hot temperatures. If the rate needs to be changed its a simple push of a couple of buttons on the display.
Also, the on/off is controlled by a motion sensor so no more excess oiling while sitting at a stoplight or while idling in the garage for servicing. My old V-system always left a small puddle of oil on the garage floor after parking it. The new one does not.
The only downside I can see is that its about 2.5 x the price of the V-system. Well worth it though in my book. Almost as no-brainer as a shaft or belt drive.

Easy installation once I determined where to run the oil line in the swing arm. Simple two wire hookup to battery and many option to position the unit on the handle bar. The system had all the parts required for installation.
Proved very effective on my recent 4100 mile trip. When it rained I turned up the oil flow and when it was hot and dry I quickly turned oil flow down. Chain seemed to stay oiled in all conditions without a lot of messy oil fling-off on the bike.
I got about 1800 miles per fill of the reservoir with adequate chain lubrication. Simple to fill when needed.
Very satisfied with the E system.

Installation was simple enough other than the instructions being disordered. Seems to work well, as advertised. Glad I opted for the electronic version even though it is very expensive. Would recommend this.

It was easy to install & now I do not have to worry about oiling and cleaning the chain.
