I used it this summer on my holiday in France. It worked perfect and I really liked the feature that I could just “click” off the rack when we arrived to our destination.

This rack adds a lot of utility to the SV. Very well-designed and engineered. The only slight difficulty in the installation was filing down the spacers which attach the rack to the sub-frame rails. These were about 1mm too long to fit initially – I just used a metal file, but a grinder could be faster. Not sure why these spacers were designed this way when everything else fit perfectly – possibly for different model year compatibility.

I feel obligated to comment given that the reviews here helped me a lot in the install.
The round spacers need to be filed down in order to fit, I suggest assembling everything “hand tight” first, then LOCTITE EVERY BOLT and tighten to spec as per instructions. Everything is carefully packed and marked, only thing that is a tight fit is those round spacers so file them down 1-2mm. that’s all. Beautiful craftsmanship!

Very solid and sturdy. Bolts together nicely and has great fit and finish.
Only downside is that it only with with a rear seat… If you want to use the OEM Suzuki rear cowl with it, you must modify the cowl bracket and the swmotech bracket. I did a small writeup on SVRider on how to modify them to work together. Takes a bit of grinding and a bit of filing but it can work well and be clean.

The engineering, quality, and ingenuity that goes into SW Motech products is unrivaled in the industry. They are not inexpensive, but worth every penny. I highly recommend them and Twisted Throttle as a retailer.
