Description
High-quality German-made Quick-Lock luggage sideracks by SW Motech. This unique design allows the racks to be removed from the bike in less than 30 seconds without special tools by opening 3-4 quick-release fasteners on each side. These narrow profile black powder-coated steel racks are compatible with luggage cases from GIVI (Monokey system) TraX ALU-BOX Pelican Micatech Kappa Shad Hepco-Becker Krauser and more. Luggage-specific adapter kits are sold separately.
When the racks are removed only 3-4 small mounting tabs remain visible on either side of the bike. These mounting tabs are almost invisible preserving the original visual appearance and size of your motorcycle. Required luggage-specific adapter kits are sold separately. In addition optional key locks (sold separately) are available to lock the racks to the bike with the key unlocking a pair of special quick-release fasteners which secure the racks on each side. The Quick-Lock racks are made of flat steel which presents the narrowest possible lateral profile.

Purchased racking systems along with quick connect and givi set up. Instructions are ok – just lay out the parts and go slow; fitment of the rack is excellent. Just a tip for placement of the locks for the quick connect: put them at the bottom position at back of rack. You will not have clearance at the other positions. The quick connect system does introduce some play in the parts which may rub the coating off at the mating points. I may put a small piece of very thin rubber on to minimize.

I purchased this side case mount for my 2015 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 with hopes of using the OEM aluminum panniers from my 2015 Suzuki DL650XT so I could swap back and forth and save myself quite a bit of money. I knew that SW Motech is the one that makes the OEM panniers for Suzuki just rebranded, so I figured they should mount correctly, and sure enough they did. They were very easy to install and are extremely strong. This mount also supports quite a few brands and styles of panniers but you just have to order the correct hardware. I was able to order the Trax hardware and use that for my OEM aluminum panniers. Couldn’t have been more happy.
