Description

The GIVI PLXR5117 Rapid Release Tubular Sidecarriers are designed to hug the tailsection of your bike more tightly than the standard tubular sidecase racks. This hugging generates a narrower profile and helps maintain a better center of gravity. read more

Description

The “R” in PLXR stands for rapid release meaning the sideracks can be removed from your motorcycle quickly and therefore avoiding the painful process of unbolting them from your bike. With the GIVI Rapid Release Tubular Sidecarriers you can go from trip ready to street savvy.

  • The PLXR5117 Rapid Release Tubular Sidecarriers are designed to work only for V35, or V37 MONOKEY side cases!

The BMW R1200R and RS are motorcycles made for sport touring. Enhance your ride with this set of GIVI racks that will stand up to the long miles and look great on your bike. When removed just a few mounting tabs are left visible but you have to look to find them. As illustrated in the image above the red circles point out where the mounting tabs remain.

    Limiting if you need options

Of course, these work really well if you *only* ride with one type of luggage, but if you need options for city driving and long trips, these expensive carriers will only work with larger luggage options. If you need to transition to other givi cases, you’re out of luck. The maddening aspect to this is that the mount points are just a bit off from other monokey Givi luggage options like the E22 for city driving requiring you to buy other mounting hardware. So if you only have big side cases, then this is fine.
