Description
The timeless style and functional features of the SW-MOTECH Legend Gear LS1/LS1 Saddlebag Set with Saddle Support Strap provides secure and rugged storage for your essentials while enhancing the appearance of your classic or retro designed motorcycle. Engineered for motorbikes with standard passenger and rider seats the included universal saddle support system wraps completely around the seat providing adjustable attachment of two 9.8 Liter LS1 Saddlebags. The Legend Gear LS1/LS1 saddlebag and support strap set by SW-MOTECH blends the rich look and feel of old school natural leather with the modern durability and weather resistance of today’s synthetics. Hauling 19.6 Liters of gear has never been this sexy.
The cotton canvas in the Legend Gear luggage is wax coated to repel water and dirt while protecting against UV damage. To maintain a new appearance wax regularly and avoid storage in direct sunlight. For a vintage faded look (similar to black denim that turns grey) wax less frequently and expose to sunlight.

Got these bags and straps a couple months ago. They look great on my Moto Guzzi V7II Stone. I got the smaller 9.8L ones and they do exactly what I need: carry my lunch, rain gear, and a whatever odds and ends I’m taking to work. I did use them for an 2 night camping trip but was very careful in choosing what I needed to bring. If I was camping more or hauling more gear I definitely would go for the larger bags. The saddle support strap (which the bags attach to) was a little tricky getting installed. In order for the seat to completely lock back in place, I had to play with the straps a while and found out that I had to have the clasps just outside the seat instead of under the seat, and you never ever would notice them so it’s fine. Went through a couple big downpours in Montana and everything stayed dry. Make sure you install the included dry-bags correctly – the velcro on the dry-bags attached to the velcro on the saddlebags, and then after you fill your bags you connect the two clips on the top of the dry-bag then close/roll the entire thing. They seem durable enough and after 4k miles still look good. All in all I feel they are a good working good looking piece of gear that does what they need to do, although they were a little on the expensive side.

The 1974 R75/6 has a wonderful flat bench seat with grab rail. These 9.8L bags can be made to fit and sit just great. The support strap with loops and metal fasteners are adjustable to accomodate different loads and uneven lumps in seat. I did not use the straps provided bc it caused much clutter. I opted for velcro fabric fasteners from local sew shop. I’ve used them on two trips,(overnight x3; +500miles), and no problems with sagging or swayback into subframe. The inner take-out bags are a must. The whole set smiles with quality and looks great on a 42 year old motorcycle.

Searched long & hard for luggage that looked good and didn’t break the bank for my Moto Guzzi V7ii. These are excellent quality & the seat strap allows them to go on & off in no time. The rigid back & bottom helps them keep their shape & the removable dry bags are a nice touch. The seat strap does take a little adjusting to allow room for the seat to lock in, but fits nice & snug once it’s down.
Excellent fast shipping from twisted throttle too!
