    Really handy!

    MikeS

I have 2 bikes and a Helmet Guardian on each. The best way I know to keep a helmet safe when not on my head. It is dirt cheap insurance for the integrity of your helmet when a single fall can ruin that piece of expensive riding gear. If your bike doesn’t have helmet locks, you NEED one of these.

    Helmet Guard

    Gadgetman

Bought my first one for my (then new) ’14 Honda CTX 1300 as its OEM helmet holders SUCK and are inconvenient. The Helmet Guard is quite handy and well engineered. As such, when I picked up a nice used ’07 ST 1300 a few years back I got one for it as well for same reasons. A month ago I took delivery of my ’18 Gold Wing Tour DCT Air Bag. Unlike my previous Wings who’s OEM under trunk Helmet Holders which were perfect, this new ’18’s design are awkward and cumbersome to utilize. So I just bought a 3’rd Helmet Holder and all is well.

    My 2nd one

    Tazbritt

Had one on my last bike for 10 years. Used it frequently and always worked flawlessly. New bike, so I added another Helmet Guardian.

I have a Helmet Guardian installed on my other Motorcycle and I love it! The Helmet Guardian frees up my Top case space for other things (jacket, gloves, etc…)

    Solves a big problem!

    MaxPete

Few if any modern bikes have a helmet lock – but the Helmet Guardian solves this problem with a slick little attachment to your licence plate bracket. It provides two secure locks so that you and your passenger can leave your helmet on the bike without too much risk.

    Solid

    Money Mike

Essu to install. I have a BMW K1600 and the way my helmets hang on the guardian they touch my hot exhaust pipes. I wish guardian had an accessory to protect helmets from hot pipes. Otherwise it’s a great product.

  12. NickName

Great product, but keep the spare key on your bike

    NickName

I’m on my second one because I’ve forgotten the key three times (now I only have one working lock on my bike). Since my wife doesn’t want or need the spare on her key chain, which I grabbed without thinking, I had to use bolt cutters that were thankfully available where I parked my bike. I would like to be able to order a new hook from Helmet Guardian and fix it, but haven’t found a way to contact them to see if the one part can be replaced, or if I have to buy a third one. I’ll be putting the spare key under my locked seat from now on.

    Works great!

    Kevin

Purchased for a recent road trip with my wife on our BMW K1200GT. Worked great. Very convenient to hold and secure helmets for stops along the way so we didn’t have to lug our helmets with us. When not touring we normally just put our helmets inside our hard cases on the bike, but that wasn’t an option for our trip as they were full with clothes.

    Works well

    Richard Redondo

I installed this feature 2-months ago, and it functions as advertised, which is a great addition to my wheels. It was a tight fit, but do-able with a little fussing. Design looks like it would fit and adjust to any bike because of the large slot-holes on the product.

    I love this thing.

    terryhobart

I’m a long time motorcycle driver. I remember when locks used to come standard on bikes. Not this silly cable you have to pull the seat to attach. This product works perfectly – even better than the old ones I remember.
It is secure and uses security fasteners to prevent removal. Locks both helmets easily.

  20. Honda Lover

Practical tool for securing your helmet

    Honda Lover

I purchased and installed on my 2016 Yamaha Super Tenere ES. Install was easy. The provided instructions are well written. It did not interfere with my license plate or rear fender at all. It’s discrete. All hardware was of good quality. The locks themselves are adequately secure and have a quality feel when opening or closing. I do use a chrome helmet d loop extender providing additional slack where the D loop hangs from the guardians u Lock. I found this gives just a bit more clearance with this specific bike ensuring the helmet hangs freely/not touching luggage or rear fender. I recommend this if your looking for an easy solution go

    Works Great

    jeff

It looked a little flimsy online. However, when I got it and attached it to my bike (VRSCA) it worked fine. Plenty solid enough.

  24. feema

    Not as sturdy as expected

    feema

I had two of this company’s locks on my last bike, so I didn’t hesitate when I saw this. I love the locking action, and the spring loaded clip so you can leave it open and just snap your helmet in when you stop. However, the plate between the two locks is extremely flimsy and, in fact, mine was bent on arrival. I can’t help thinking it wouldn’t be too difficult to bend this back and forth until it breaks. Now, I need to buy a steel plate to laminate to the back so I can have any trust in it. Disappointing.
