    Good value

Good (not great) sidecases. Small enough to leave on yet top-loading allows for more stuff than you might think. Wish they were just a bit more solid for a great rating but overall I do recommend and would buy again.

    Great functionality and priced right.

I owned some Givi E21’s that were similar size with top openings. I had them for about 10 years but they went with the old bike when sold. They always functioned great. These new model E21’s are equal to the old model and maybe better. They seem a bit more solid. I would definitely buy again. The top loading feature is great for day trips.

    Great bang for the buck.

    RidingWV

I had soft luggage on my two previous V-Stroms, which worked well for occasional use. However, the heat from the exhaust (even with the stock heat shields) melted the bags. I decided to switch to hard luggage but was shocked at the cost. I also did not like many of the hard saddlebags that stuck out so far as to possibly catch on things, causing a tip-over. When I saw these EN-22 bags, I liked the size and price. No, they are are not huge, but combined with my Givi tail bag, I have plenty of storage if I pack responsibly. The PL-528 mounting hardware went on easily, and the saddlebags mounted to the hardware very securely. I have not had the opportunity to check how waterproof they are, but they seem to have a good seal. Twisted Throttle was great to deal with (thanks for the military discount!) and with the mounting hardware and saddlebags ordered separately, they each arrived in just a few days.

    Cheap solid quality!

    jimmyT

These were some of the cheapest hard lockable side cases I could find…and they are very good! Plain solid quality. Good features and look like they will last for years…and they look quite good too I think. I like the angles as opposed to round bubble design.

    Givi E22N Sidecase

    Erick

I actually bought the Givi E22N to complete my bike touring setup.
I actually mounted this E22 in a 2008 Honda CB400 Hyper VTEC Spec 3 bike which complemented the bike appearance. With its new design, it looks very good compared to E21 sidecase. 22 liter capacity is OK for a sidecase.
At the time of writing this review, I am the only who has an E22N sidecase in the country.
