Description
This DENALI Motorcycle Engine Guard/Crash Bar Light Mount Kit allows fitment of any DENALI LED Lights to engine guards crash bars or any tube 21mm-29mm (0.826in-1.125in) in diameter. These light mounts have a unique octagonal inner profile that allow the clamps to securely grip a wide range of tube diameters and include an optional fully rotatable mounting shelf to create a super versatile and robust light mounting solution.
These clamps are intended for mounting lights to OEM or aftermarket crash bars commonly found on adventure and dual sport motorcycles. The clamps allow the lights to be positioned inside of the crash bars ensuring they will be protected in a tip over.

- Lights can be mounted to shelf or directly to clamp
- Accepts M8 bolt from light pod
- Billet aluminum with black anodized finish
- Fits all standard SW-MOTECH R&G Givi Kappa Hepco-Becker Krauser Touratech and BMW original crashbars
- Fits AltRider crashbars with 25mm (1in) diameter tubing; not for use on AltRider crashbars with 32mm (1.25in) diameter tubing

I bought this a month ago. During installation since its made of Aluminium one Nut twisted and was free. During the ride at high speeds they would turn. Prices are not as per quality. They also do not come with rubber layer inside which gives grip and less vibration to the lights.

I used these brackets on my 19 650 vstrom with happy trails crash bars. Installed July 2019 and they have been good mounts but yesterday while riding some state forest roads the right side bracket mount broke in half at the bolt hole. See pic. Luckily I noticed it quickly and the light did not go in the spokes or get damaged. I would recommend some type of back up such as zip ties or safety wire just in case. I have the DR1 2.0 lights mounted on them.

After contacting Denali for warranty, they are sending me two upgraded replacements when available. In the meantime I fashioned a mount from some 1/4″ steel and ran zipties from the bracket to the crash bar for back up.

How exactly are the D4’s supposed to mount up with these crash bar mounts? It seems like there’s no way to configure it with what’s in the box of the D4’s and mount. Also, are D4’s too heavy for these somewhat dainty mounts?
