I ordered and installed these for my Denali D4 lights. They are well made, indestructible. The problem is when installed they leave a slight gap between the side mirror assembly and mount plate. If you screw connections tight, gap increases. I had to use black silicone to hide it.

Bought these mounts 6 weeks ago and installed them. During the installation on the mirrors, I notice a gap between the mounts and the mirror flange. I tried to correct what I thought was a problem but upon the installation of the mirrors back on the motorcycle, everything corrected itself as soon as I tightened the mirrors bolts.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and got to install them last weekend. The mounts are great quality, however the fitment was not straight forward. When bracket install there was a big gap left between the mirror and the bracket. When mounted on the bike the gap never closed. Had to fit 2 washers on both bolt point between the bracket and the mirror and there’s still a small gap on the left side mirror. The right side mirror I also had to put 2 washers but no gap after installed. As a suggestion, install first the left mirror (the one without the antenna) as the the right side the installation is harder because of the antenna. Luckily I started with the left one.

Purchase a set of the mirror mounts along with the CANsmart controller and a pair of S4s Jul 2019.
Solid construction, attractive mounts but I also had some fitment issues. Started with the left hand mount. First photo 1-LHS shows the gap with the adapter mounted, mirror off the bike. Photo 2-LHS shows the gap with the mirror mounted onto the bike. As one other review mentioned, the gap did diminish as the mirror was secured to the bike mount. However light could be seen between the mirror gasket and the mount. Fit of the mount to the plastic of the bike seemed very good.
Upon inspection found the adapter for the LHS mount did not sit flush to the mirror post. Unfortunately no photo of that, however there is one of the adapter shimmed with a thin flat washer about the amount of the misalignment. Eventual, after multiple mounting and dismounting, found that, without a shim, alternating the tightening of the adapter screw produced a more or less decent fit. The RHS adapter fit much better. Nevertheless there still was a slight gap once the mirror was mounted to the bike. Used black silicone on both.
Deciding to run the power cable for the light through the mount, up over the bike mirror mount, and down behind the speaker complicated the “ease of installation” somewhat as it made positioning the mount while securing a wire which tended to repeatedly displace the mirror gasket somewhat of a trial. So perhaps an average rating is a tad unfair. Still, tight work, particularly on the right hand sigh with the antenna and grounding wire. Two photos of the wire routing are included.
Recommended with the caveat of the fit.
