Easy, two bolt install on my 2016 800 Tiger XCx but this light bar is a beast! Very stout and durable, but could probably do the job at half the heft.

works great but it is heavy, i am in the process of mocking one up out of aluminum that will be as durable but about 2lbs lighter. I will offer them to you all when i get them dialed in.

Hey Gus22 – did you ever fab up the aluminum auxiliary light mount for the tiger 800?
I’d be interested in one if you have them available.

Installation of the bracket was a breeze, everything fitted perfectly. However, its’ quite heavy and I hope it doesnt overload the headlight bracket. Also, the bolts supplied with the DX lamps are too short for the bracket.

Nice option to mount the Denali D4s I bought. Very solid and well manufactured. Easy to install as well. But IT IS HEAVY. Mild Steel? Feels like solid iron! I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as a defensive weapon in a pinch.
I get they wanted some weight to it so it didn’t bounce around, but I would have thought aluminum or something else could have offered the rigidity needed without the weight.

Strong built. It bolts to the frame instead of to the plastic light housing like some others.

To me, this is the simplest and most effective way to mount auxiliary lights to the Tiger 800. It’s simpler than Triumph’s accessory offering. The lights are tucked in close to the body, so they’re less likely to be damaged in tipovers or by snags from branches. And, the bracket is made of heavy enough material that jittery lights will never be a problem.

Nice light mounting bar. Simple to mount and seems plenty strong.

Bought this hoping it would be a good mount for my Fog Lights, but it’s just too heavy and it cantilevers the lights out the front about 6″, hanging off a couple of little 6mm screws. Just seems like a poor design (at least to me). Will fab my own mount.
