Description
This Flush Mount Auxiliary LED Brake Light Kit was designed to mount a single B6 Pod to any flat surface on your vehicle. The included silicone gasket ensures a watertight seal and a variety of included hardware permits through-bolting or blind self-tapping for installation on plastic.
The B6 is the optimum auxiliary brake light to add to the CANsmart™ Controller for riders who want maximum rear visibility. Connecting to the CANsmart™ enables programmable flash pattern brake light and deceleration activated auto brake light functionality making the B6 the brightest and most feature-rich auxiliary brake light on the market.

Recently purchased this product for higher visibility when stopping. When I opened the box I only found the light with the pigtail. I called customer service and they said the waterproof gasket and mounting hardware is out of stock and they won’t be in for another 6 weeks. I thought it was a little ridiculous to send the light without the installation hardware. It looks really nice, I wish I could install it.

Very bright LEDs. Compact size. Posi-Taps a nice touch.
However, the connector (maybe 8x8x12mm, hardwired onto each light), and the generous length of wire (maybe 0.5m) take up a lot of space. Plus, if you get the Y-Splitter also, that’s even more stuff to jam into the rear taillight housing. Come to think of it, Posi-Taps are reusable, so I think I will just remove the splitter, snip off the extra wire and the connectors, and tap the lights in directly.
Also, I’m not sure why the Dual License Plate LED Auxiliary Brake Lights are so much more than a pair of Flush Mount LED Auxiliary Brake Lights ($142 vs $106). Looks like the only difference is a $7 splitter and some plastic mounting ears. I made my own adapter from a flat scrap piece from TAP Plastics — see picture.
Similarly, the License Plate Brake Light looks like the same electricals, almost the same mechanicals, and a hefty $42 price difference.
Good stuff, but comparison shop carefully.
