Description

Simply put; the DENALI D4 is a beast. It is DENALI’s most powerful light packing the punch of 8750 lumens in a pair of aggressively styled housings. The installed hybrid lens is equipped with two elliptical flood lenses and two spot beam lenses to create the ultimate hybrid beam pattern; a super wide close-range flood and a piercing spot beam in one housing. The included pair of spot lenses throws a massive beam of light 800 feet and carries an official E-Mark certification.

Our TriOptic™ Lens System means that each light pod has a factory-installed clear spot lens but also includes an optional flood lens to enable three different beam options when used as a pair (Spot, Flood, or Hybrid).

Choose to add an additional set of amber or selective yellow lenses to achieve greater performance in adverse weather conditions or to make your vehicle significantly more visible to other motorists on the road!

More Flexibility, Maximum Control

For 2022 we have expanded on our standard light kit to deliver a customizable package that allows you to choose the best harness and lighting control option for your vehicle on your budget! Select from the options above or click on the links below to learn more about each of our wiring and switching options.  Please be sure to add one of these options to your light pods to complete your DENALI lighting kit!

  • Standard Automotive Harness – Robust, added length, and a flush mount illuminated rocker switch for dash mounting
  • Premium Powersports Harness – Overmolded wire, and a premium illuminated switch with handlebar mounting kit
  • DataDim Module – Add this clever dimmer module to any of the above harnesses to enable your lights to change intensity in sync with your factory high beam switch!
  • DialDim Lighting Controller – The top dog in LED lighting control allows you to independently turn on/off and dim two sets of lights from a single halo dimmer switch and unlocks heaps of bonus features like high/low sync, strobe with horn, flash with signal, cancel with signal, electronic fuse setting and even doubles as a battery voltage monitor!

And last but not least we also make a complete accessory manager (The CANsmart Controller) that has dozens of customizable settings for controlling LED lights but can also be used to power and control any electrical accessories from lights and horns to heated grips, dash cams and GPS units.

Question: I want to replace my existing OEM driving lights on my 2006 BMW R1200GSA. What do I need to order to replace the entire system? Including the handle bar switch and harness.
Answer:
Hey Keith, I'm actually doing the same swap process right now with my 2014 BMW F800GSA. Since my bike is already equipped with a CanBUS system I went the following way: 1. I ordered a HEX ezCAN accessory manager - for your bike it should be the article # HEX.H3-EZR-002 here on twisted throttle. 2. I ordered the Denali D4 (this item DNL.D4.050) twice 3. I ordered a couple Denali 3 pin waterproof connectors (DNL.CTR.MT06) to be able to build my own wireing harness. The HEX ezCAN accessory manager allows you to control up to 4 devices independently via your already existing BMW control units and there is no need to tap into any of the original BMW wireing harnesses. You simply connect the HEX ezCAN device to one of the connectory under your seat, connect it to your battery and thats it. The Denali D4 lights you then connect via cables into either one or two conectory on the HEX ezCAN controller. I went the way and connected the two D4s to two connectors on the HEX ezCAN so that I have more control about their features. It for example allows me to run both lights at daytime with max 20% capacity and as soon as it gets dark it automatically increases the light to 50%. The reason why I connected them independently is that, when I use my turning lights, the Denali D4 (on the site I have the turning light on) is now flashing the alternating way - but the D4 on the other side stays on. If you do not want to tinker around with building your own wireing harness for connecting the D4s with the HEX ezCAN, you could replace the two single D4s with the D4 Kit (DNL.D4.10000) which already includes a pre-fabricated wireing harness. But my experience with my wife's bike (a BMW F700GS where I put Denali D2s on) is, that this harness might be a little to short and it is WAY harder to route that harness for both lights connected together than building your own harness and run the cables independently. I actually use the HEX ezCAN controller not only to control the auxilary lights but also to control my auxilary power devices (turns my GPS and USB outlets on with turning the key and turn them off automatically) and also controls my extra brake lights (when throttleing down extra brake lights flash slowly and when hitting the brakes hard the additional brake lights flash fast and then stay on). Hey Keith,
