Description
The S4 is the first light DENALI developed as part of the new S-Series product line. At more than 3000 lumens and economically priced the S4 provides more light per dollar than just about anything else on the market. The new S-Series lights were specifically engineered to reduce cost without sacrificing performance quality or durability. In fact the S4 features the same high intensity LEDs as the D-Series lights but utilize a single-piece optic and sealed beam construction to reduce the number of components. The result is a durable high-performance light that won’t break the bank.
The DENALI S4’s fixed lens features two flood optics and two spot optics to create the ultimate hybrid beam pattern; a super wide close-range flood and a piercing spot beam in one housing. Consistent with D-Series lights the S4 features DENALI’s innovative DataDim™ Technology that enables the lights to be upgraded in seconds to dual intensity by connecting a plug-n-play DataDim™ Controller that will automatically switch the lights between half and full intensity with your vehicle’s original high beam switch.

Paul Jenkins –
Hi, I bought an S4 2.0 LED light kit with the Dual Intensity DataDim Controller, here in the UK, I want to fit this to a 2020 Yamaha Tenere 700. First thing I noticed with the S4 kit, the light switch is very basic, compared to my previous Denali kits I fitted to my previous bikes. It doesn’t allow the alternative Denali 3 position (off, Low,High) switch to be used!
More importantly though, I want to use the DataDim facility, but reading the Denali instruction manual, it has the following note, concerning “tapping the high beam”.
Text from Instruction manual
Note: Some vehicles are equipped with LED headlights or other lighting systems that do not provide a clean 12v high beam trigger signal. See Figure 6.1 for an overview of our independent dimming switch.
I can’t find any reference to Figure 6.1, on where I may tap a clean 12v high beam trigger signal.
Also, have searched the internet, it seems that doing this on a 2020 Yamaha Tenere 700, is not straight forward. As Twisted throttle now have a Project bike Tenere 700, with various Denali product Ed fitted to it, can you suggest where and how to ta a clean 12v high beam trigger signal. My Denali dealer in the UK can’t help me with this, and know there are other owners of the Tenere 700, who are in a similar situation.
Look forward to your reply.

With this kit, you can install the S4s on your bike with single-intensity @100%. You can add our DataDim module to this harness to have 50% on low beam and 100% on high beam.
The install manual can be found under “resources”: https://files.twistedthrottle.com.s3.amazonaws.com/Installation%20Instructions/Denali/DNL.S4.10000.pdf
This kit does not allow for a SoundBomb horn. The SoundBomb mini can be added to your stock location and the SoundBomb Original requires a standalone harness: https://twistedthrottle.com/shop/electronics/horns-and-horn-mounts/horn-wiring/plug-n-play-wiring-kit-for-stebel-compact-nautilus-airhorns/
