Description
The DENALI D4 2.0 TriOptic™ LED light kit with DataDim technology is among the most powerful auxiliary lights on the market thanks to a stingingly strong quartet of LEDs that help you identify trouble as far as 800ft down the road yet still shines brightly to the edges of the road and beyond. Four 10-watt CREE XPL HI LEDs produce a piercing beam of light yet combine to use just 6.6 amps for both lamps.
New with the DENALI 2.0 generation is the industry-leading TriOptic™ lens system. Right out of the box the D4 is fitted with True-Hybrid™ lenses providing a combination of spot and flood patterns in each lamp. This configuration gives you 560ft of forward light and 140ft of visibility to the side. That’s almost 600ft to read a road sign and 140ft to see the deer lurking among the bushes. Also in the box are lenses that convert all four LEDs in each lamp to a spot pattern resulting in a tight distance-focused beam brilliant out to 800ft while still retaining a 110ft beam width. Want a third option? Fit one of each lens to your D4 pair to get a Spot-Hybrid configuration that offers 625ft of maximum distance with a 140ft beam width. The spot lenses are E-Marked to be road legal in countries where this is a requirement.
DENALI 2.0 Installation and Operation
The DENALI D4 housing is only 3.9in square and 2.6in. deep and uses cast-in cooling fins to effectively dissipate heat and maximize light output. A durable black powder coated finish and a special Impact PC™ corrosion proof bezel ensures your lights will continue to look great even after repeated stone and debris impacts. Because of its size the D4 is recommended for use with sturdy crash bars or other engine-protection devices or with DENALI’s expanding line of bike-specific mounts.
The D4 2.0 kit uses a just-developed HotSwap™ modular wiring harness that by default causes these single intensity lights to function at full brightness. But if you would like them to operate at both half and full power simply add the dual intensity DataDim™ controller. No other changes are required except to replace the original relay with the DataDim™ module and connect one wire to the high-beam circuit. (You can also purchase a three-position switch to manually control light intensity independent of the bike’s high beam.)
DENALI’s previous quad-LED D4 has proven its worth to sport-touring and adventure riders the world over. Now the next-generation DENALI 2.0 D4 is here to take motorcycle illumination to an entirely new level.

First, the ship them very quickly. I got them 2 days after ordering. I normally need someone to install anything new on my bike, but I installed these without issue, the directions were great. The difference is unbelievable, I love these lights.

I used to own a set of the older d4’s on my super tenere and I loved them, however I just ordered these new ones for my Africa Twin Adventure Sport and the harness seems to be really short. I never had this problem with the older d4’s, in fact I even received additional extensions with the older model. Overall the light is great but the harness needs the extension for both lights and the switch.

Just purchased the lights with the mirror brackets and the hi-lo-off switch. Install was straight forward. Excellent quality. I used these to complement my Skene photon blasters. My only issue is the mirror bracket mounts. They are high quality but the fit leaves a slight gap. I had to use black silicone to hide it. I love the placement but I expect a better fit for the mount where it meets the fairing. Get the lights… use a different mount perhaps.

I bought just 2 pods of old gen D4. I built my own harness to make a clean and neat installation without any idle / slack cable. Fitted the pods to engine guards via sw motech clamps. Perfect results. D4s made my full led headlights look poor…
Dont waste your money for cheap products.

These are the brightest LED lights I’ve ever had. They have worked flawlessly. I have the Denali controller on my 2017 BMW GS Adventure and can control the brightness through the stock “Wonderwheel.” Turning these lights off is a simple as pushing in the turn signal switch.

Great day and excellent night visibility. The kit is easy enough to install as is (I also purchased BMW F800GSA specific brackets), but it took a little electrical wiring replan when I installed it via a Hex EzCan to get extra capabilities (turns off food with active signals/hazards, special flash mode). Wish I could have purchased them when I bought the bike back in 2014.
