Adjustable Brackets

These brackets mount to your original fairing on your V-Strom DL650. The purpose of the brackets is to lift up the screen off of your fairing which reduces turbulence. They are manufactured out of stainless steel and a satin-black powder coated that will blend in with your dashboard. The adjustable brackets feature round fluted knobs that make adjustment easy (even with gloves on) and the rubber inserts give an excellent grip that holds the brackets in position. All mounting hardware is included there is even an Allen wrench provided that will allow you to remove the factory bracket and install the MadStad system. The tool-less T-screws will make installing and removing the windshield simple.

Bracket Function

The MadStad brackets are all you to need to adjust your windscreen for 25° of tilt angle and 3″ of height without the use of any tools. This readjustment makes your shield more aerodynamic and generates pockets of air underneath the windscreen that will eliminate any vacuum effect. The MadStad system generates smooth airflow and the eliminates turbulence and comes with the option of adjusting for your height and riding position. What else could you want in a screen?

Windscreen

The windscreen is 20″ tall and comes in either clear light gray medium gray dark gray or bronze smoke. It is constructed using 3/16″ cast acrylic that allows for superior optical clarity. The straight curved profile generates smooth airflow and gives you a wider and taller pocket of air than the stock shield. This screen height is recommended for riders who are 5’11 tall.
