MadStad Adjustable Windshield Mount With 20in Adventure Shield For Kawasaki KLR650 ’08-’18

This system “detaches” your windscreen from the fairing so that instead of a vacuum being generated behind the screen (and right where you don’t want it) it creates pockets of air up and under the front of the windshield ergo eradicating the turbulence. The windshields height and angle are adjusted so this system is suitable for many sizes of riders. The 18″ screen is recommended for riders that are around 5’10”.

All of these wonderful features are accomplished with 3 easy to install pieces. No modifications will be needed to your bike and all mounting hardware is included. If you have a spare 30-40 minutes you can install this screen.

The aluminum mounting base drops in the place that your original screen used to be and has the added benefit of stiffening up your fairing due to this strong and solid plate.

The adjustment of the screen is enabled by then installing the easy-adjust brackets. These are what allow you to adjust the height of the screen up to 3″ and the tilt degree up to 25°. You can make adjustments to these brackets without the help of tools and even with your glove on

The final piece that attaches to the brackets is the windscreen. This MadStad system comes with a 20″ Adventure shield. This windscreen is cast out of 3/16″ thick acrylic and is designed to have a straight curved profile. The 20″ screen is recommended for riders that are around 6’1″.

The final product of these components is you will have a system that not only gives you wind protection it will adjust to your height and riding position. Additionally the space now under your screen creates a pocket that draws air away from behind your screen which was the original cause of your turbulence.
