Aldea –
I bought the item for my new bike over a month ago and did a few longer drives so I had the chance to use it. Here is my personal opinion: I got it very fast, the installation was easy but it is hard to use as described in instructions but works ok if you lock it with your left hand. Unfortunately the price is way way to high for it after I seen the cheaper ones ( 15to 20 $) used by my friends and they do the same thing.

Easy install and perfect fit. Website was a bit cumbersome but did allow me to pick out the correct model for my VStrom. Easy to use and looks good on the bike.

It came quickly and was fairly straight forward to install. There was a slight learning curve to using it but it sure is nice to be able to rest the wrist!

JMPICS –
Excellent product. Prefer it over the cam lock throttle lock. A little fine tuning needed after following installation instructions, but very happy with the out come.

Both the throttle lock and K&N filter were excellent purchases and easy to install. Twisted Throttle delivered them to my door within a couple of days from my purchase and have done so with all of my purchases. I would recommend both the products and company service to all.

Easy to install and easy to use. Very well made and is very helpful in preventing a sore grip and cramping on long stretches.

marcham –
By far the easiest farkle to install on the 2012+ DL650. Just had to trim a little rubber off the heated grip so that it was flush with the throttle tube. Works fine with OEM handguards and Oxford heated grips.

Works great. A little awkward at first, but once you get use to it, it’s breeze.

RoadTimer –
Had the Kaoko Throttle Lock installed late in the riding season, but I have had the opportunity to try it on shorter runs this fall. It works exactly as advertised. It takes a little getting use to to engage, but it is simple and works well, allowing you to ride along at a steady speed while moving and stretching your right hand. The oddest feeling was not having a hand on the right grip (that’s where one of the brakes is, right?), but quick changes can be made easily (including disengaging) as you ride.
It is not a true cruise control in that your speed is not maintained going up or down hills, but you can make adjustments even with the lock engaged when the road grade changes. It is also very unobtrusive and looks great on my V-strom 650, and there were no issues with the heated grips or the hand guards. Looking forward to putting it to use on some long rides next season!

Installed on 2015 DL650A. Easy to use. Works very well. Have not tried in the rain, so don’t know if water will act as lube and reduce friction. Great to be able to remove throttle hand now and then.

Very well made. Instructions were fair to good. I installed this device on my 2014 Suzuki Vstrom 1000. Works better than any other throttle lock I have tried. Expensive, but solid as a rock.

Freedom –
I would have liked a little more instruction on in american standard units, But the speed lock works great, I drive 50 miles one way and it gives my right hand a needed break and I would recommend the product to anyone that needs to get some circulation back to their hand, and making adjustments to the speed is easy just stiff but that’s to be expected since its tension related, I enjoy the freedom.
