Its well made and packaged with everything need for a basic installation, but its not THAT nice. The fit left something to be desired, they could have included a few spacers or shims to adjust the bar-end fit of the barkbuster attachment. I ended up using a dremel tool on my barkbuster arm to make it all fit to my standards. It looks like it will operate as advertised but will take some getting used to and take a unique technique to engage it. To me a fair price would be around $80, but with no competition I understand Kaoko taking advantage of this with their asking price.

Twisted Throttle seems to always have what I need. I bought Kaoko lock for my Triumph last year ,very happy with how it works so I ordered one for Versys which has Barkbuster hand guards. Easy install.

The Kaoko kit as shown in the order form and described in the packed instructions show a bar end weight. The weight is not included! This fits well on the stock threaded bar when combined with the Barkbuster handguards. The threaded end means you do not need the expansion fittings. The stock bars have a 1/2 inch threaded extension past the end of the grips. When using the Barkbuster hand guards the extension shows on the left side while it is covered on the right with the Kaoko kit. It fits fine, but leaves an unfinished look. I used a piece of black pipe on the left to fill the gap for a better look. Everything would install better on aluminum aftermarket bars.
Consider getting the bar end weights.
