Description
To install just remove the right hand bar weight replace it with Kaoko’s bar weight and firmly tighten the central retaining screw.

- While cruising rider is able to remove hand from throttle grip throttle opening will remain as set

Special Notes:

I bought this for my Yamaha FJR and found it doesn’t work as well as expected. Turns out the set screw penetrated the inner ring. I don’t recall any cautions about this happening.

The installation on my 2012 Yamaha FJR1300 was pretty simple. (I was a little concerned at the torque needed to unscrew the weight bolt and how the setting twisted but it finally came loose with no issues.) Installing the Kaoko was easy.
However, it takes enough turns to tighten it against the rubber grip that it isn’t just a simple “roll it on” as the info leads you to believe. Maybe I’ll get used to this and it is certainly better than not having one available. It is usable, just no as simple as I would prefer.
I have a Brake-away on my Vulcan and it is just a simple push with my thumb to engage, push to disengage; maybe I’ve been spoiled.

This works as advertised. Easy installation, no muss no fuss. Unlike other throttle locks, this holds the throttle in place and actually doesn’t decelerate. Two thumbs up!
