    A worthwhile purchase

I installed a Kaoko throttle lock on my K1600GTL recently. The installation was very simple. I was having considerable problem with my right hand going numb (I have mild carpotunel problems) whenever I manually throttle the bike. By having a light amount of drag on the throttle from the Kaoko throttle lock this problem has been greatly reduced. The device works well. The smoothness throughout the throttle travel is not quite as smooth as the factory drag on my old R1100RT, but it is still very nice to have.

Kaoko is a revelation in comfort and control

I just got back from a nice 150 mile trip using the Kaoko cruise throttle control. The Kaoko opens up an entirely new way of riding and controlling your bike. It is astonishing how much improvement in riding freedom and control the Kaoko delivers.

The Kaoko affords you INSTANT throttle response unlike an electronic cruise which provides real safety benefits for you. (And no, I am not tailgating or too close)

Kaoko eliminates the nasty snapping shut of the throttle and thus eliminates any abrupt jolts to you and your passenger. You just add a bit of friction with a slight turn of the Kaoko knob, and the throttle will become deliciously smooth to use. You instantly set it with just a slight gentle movement of your hand, it is that easy!

You also can set the friction point by just grasping the throttle as usual but keep your grip slightly ‘over hanging’ on the castellated Kaoko knob. As you increase throttle, your grip also increases the friction so the you have ‘automatically’ set Kaoko into action and the throttle will stay put. The knob has a reverse thread so it works in concert with the throttle action, At any time, the Kaoko can be INSTANTLY overcome by closing down the throttle. It is totally safe. Installation is easy. I highly recommend it.
