How To Install A Kaoko Throttle Lock & The Benefits Of Having One
To install just remove the right hand bar weight replace it with Kaoko’s bar weight with integrated friction nut and firmly tighten the central retaining screw.

- While cruising rider is able to remove hand from throttle grip throttle opening will remain as set
- Very simple to operate even with heavy winter gloves

*Special Note: In 2010 BMW changed the bars on the G650GS to a size that is not suitable for this product.

Kit does NOT include a replacement left-side bar end weight.

The throttle lock works effectively, even with the vibration of my F650 single. Can be easily set with only one hand while cruising; but to deactivate it -while keeping the same speed-With one hand I have to do about 4 small flicks with my right hand (to release the lock and then open the throttle). It would be great if it could be released with one flick without changing the speed.

I bought this a short time ago and found it to be exactly as advertised. this product installs in less than 15 minutes with an allen wrench. The locking mechanism rotates in the same direction as the throttle which makes it easy and safe to operate.
