    Simple and Dependable Mechanism

Recently completed a 4,560km cruise to the mountains and the lock was useful for relieving fatigue over the prairie, about 2,000km of it round trip. The installation is simple, hardly any adjustment to the tension nut needed, and it doesn’t look out of place on the grip. The friction mechanism is simple but I found that once I was at speed I had to ‘walk’ my right hand over the grip to twist the friction nut in place with my little finger while holding the throttle position where I wanted it, but that was expected. Once locked though, provided good relief and only needed a little throttle adjustment to compensate for small changes in terrain. No emergency release though, like other throttle locks and rolling off to disengage it completely took a moment to ensure the friction nut is completely backed off. Always check your throttle action when you have it installed and make sure it’s disengaged completely before setting out on a ride.
