Got droopy mirrors?
We’ve received reports that occasionally the RAM arm will not clamp tightly enough to the Doubletake mirrors and that vibrations or wind will move the mirror out of position. If you’ve experienced this issue we recommend placing a short length of heat shrink tubing over the ball at the end of the mirror. This material is pliable enough that the RAM arm can hold the mirror securely and you’ll be riding again worry free—about the mirrors anyway!

Put a set of these on my Honda XR650L. Been on a few of the BDR’s and in the mountains in Colorado. Haven’t had any problems.

I attached the mirror to a 2″ RAM extension to a ball on my reservoir cover. Wind pressure at highway speed tends to push the mirror out of alignment. Bumps do the same. Wind+bump is deadly. Image is big, clear, and vibration-free, but it just won’t stay in place.

I got these thinking they would fit my F800GS Adventure Travel only to find out the require special adapters that cannot be purchased anywhere at the moment and OEM ones attached to mirrors won’t work they have no female tread.
