Honestly the mirrors on a V-Strom help you look at your shoulders and that’s about it. Almost useless for actually driving. Presto- put these extenders on and problem solved! You can see traffic behind you again. A little pricey but everything made in Germany is that way. Cannot fault the quality or fit so that’s the main concern.

I bought a set of these for my 2006 V-Strom and now my 2015 KTM 1290. On both bikes the mirrors were adequate but pretty useless without these extenders. I know my shoulders are back there – these extenders let me actually see other vehicles on the road. That is helpful. They also eliminate some of the side buffeting that I experienced on both bikes before adding these extenders.

Installed on 2015 V-Strom adventure. They are expensive (true for most of the SW-Motech line of products). Nonetheless, they are very solid and they do what they are designed to do. No hassle installation.

I was getting tired of watching my shoulders in the mirrors of my Triumph Tiger Explorer, so I decided it was time to use up some of my Twisted points & purchase a set of these mirror wideners. What a great product! I was somewhat reluctant to try them for fear of picking up vibes in my mirrors, but they are picture perfect.
