I like the stock pegs and the shift lever/brake pedal locations but I need to extend my controls forward another inch or 2. Would this kit let me do that?

Question. Did your 280mm shifting rod fit the existing connections? I ordered a kit similar To this and it looks like the shifting rod it came with is slightly too big to fit the screw in ports.

I had this issue as well, I’ve contacted R&G but I may have to return the kit since the shift rod threads are too large.
