    Simple but Effective Enhancement

    BGFallbrook

I purchased the SW-MOTECH Handlebar Risers for my GSXS1000F to improve the already good ergonomics. They were stupid simple to install and did not require re-routing the cables or wiring. The small lift incrementally improves back and shoulder fatigue for longer rides. They do not affect more aggressive riding in a “tuck position.” Overall super pleased.

The one unexpected effect is that the stock handlebar mounted mirrors are elevated and shifted rearward a bit which can be adjusted to optimize viewing. I also note a modest increase in mirror vibration – just enough to be degrade the most distant images. Thankfully, this does NOT seem to affect grip vibration.

These do not “wow” you like the latest electronic rider aid. They are a tad expensive. You will just quietly appreciate their elegant simplicity as you enjoy more quality riding miles.

    Better Ride

I bought the risers because the handlebars were too low and my hands would get numb from the downward pressure on my palms when riding. They hav worked great and didn’t have to make any modification to the wires.
