Not sure how I feel about these

I bought these for my Africa Twin because the stock pegs are too narrow and too short, especially when standing. I liked the idea that these pegs are adjustable both in height and angle. I’m tall, so I set these in the lowest position and tilted them one notch downward from level because my feet point slightly down due to my long legs. What I don’t like about them is that they stick out way too far. The foot peg is one piece that fits into the base which is the second piece, then both pieces attach to the foot peg bracket via the pivot pin and springs. The pegs stick out a whopping 5 1/4 inches. To give you an idea of how that relates to other foot pegs, I measured the peg length on my 2015 Husqvarna FE350 at 3 3/4 inches and 3 1/4 inches on my DR650. I find that during normal street riding my feet are sitting on the foot peg base and just barely on the serrated part of the peg. They also can get in the way when you put your foot down when paddling the bike around the garage or dabbing when riding off-road.
i think If I had to do it again I’d get a different set of adjustable pegs.
