What struck me about these foot pegs when I 1st saw the listing was that they are Cast Stainless Steel. Being an Aero/Space Machinist and involved with the metal fabrication industry for many years, I know the work involved with this process. You rarely see it because of the cost. It is a very superior way to make a steel part and these where well executed. They are strong, beautiful and impervious to corrosion. I polished my set with a succession of stepped grit Scotchbrite abrasive wheels bringing them to just short of a mirror buff. You could also bead-blast them or treat them with any finish you’d like. No need to plate or paint and should they become scuffed, you just re-sand and polish. An excellent product.
