The magnetic plate includes two powerful rare earth magnets rubber cradle and two adhesive metal plates. This kit works well for attaching Valentine Passport and other automotive radar detectors to motorcycles.

Got this a month ago and used it for 3,000 miles, with a couple ventures into triple digit territory and it worked great, very solid and removes easily.
It’s a little hard to make out from the picture, but the red part is a steel plate that sticks onto the thing you want to mount, and under the plastic are a couple super magnets. Ball mount not included, standard circular pattern one works well.
