Description
This SW-MOTECH Vibration Damped Quick Release GPS Holder is designed to mount your electronic device to the handlebar clamp placing it just in front of the gauges for quick access without taking your attention from the road. Rubber mounts insulate engine and road vibrations for clearer easier to read information and less harshness transmitted to your expensive electronics. The GPS holder also pivots for the perfect viewing angle without blocking your gauges. Powder coated in black for a long lasting finish.

Please note: Part #2 & #6 in the instructions are shipped as one piece mounted together.
The mounting patterns in this mount include a universal AMPS hole pattern as well as horizontal vertical and diagonal RAM hole patterns.
The AMPS hole pattern is an industry standard hole configuration. It consists of four (4) holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 1.188in by 1.813in (30mm by 38mm). In most cases the AMPS pattern consists of 8 holes. This allows the mount to be fitted in both a horizontal or vertical orientation. Most third party mounting devices and cradles have the AMPS hole pattern.
Garmin supplied cradles for the Garmin zumo 340 345 350 390 590 595 and 660 require the SW-MOTECH GPS Adapter Kit GPS.00.085.100000.B be installed with this mount.

The machining is terrific as is the paint/powder coat. It looks a little more complicated than it really is, all those widgets allow you to adjust to exactly where you like.
I mounted an automotive Garmin to it- took a bit of noodling with Garmin mounts. I’m waiting for the next rev of motorcycle GPS’s to come- and I can take advantage of the standardized mounting plate as found on this.
