DENALI SoundBomb Mini Electromagnetic Low Tone Motorcycle Horn + DENALI Wiring Adapter – Connects SoundBomb Horns to OEM BMW Harness
Price for both: $51.28

Description

At 113 decibels, the distinct low-tone sound from the DENALI SoundBomb Mini Motorcycle Horn is twice as loud as a typical 100 decibel disc horn. Designed to be a direct Plug & Play upgrade from your factory horn, requiring no additional relay or wiring harness as long as the original horn has blade-style electrical connections and can handle the 5 amp load. When stock isn’t quite enough, be heard with the SoundBomb Mini.

Some motorcycles horn circuits are not capable of powering this 5 amp horn. If your horn circuits’ max amperage is less than 5 amps, or if you are unsure, simply add our plug-n-play harness to bypass the horn circuit and draw power directly from your battery. Also, add our standard relay as this is not included with the horn harnesses.

  • Operating voltage:12 Volts (11.7volts required)
  • Power draw: 5 Amps

  3. This horn is not compatible with KTM 1190 & 1290 Motorcycles.
  4. If you are not using the BMW wiring adapter (DNL.WHS.10100), a CANsmart controller or plug-n-play relay harness are required for installation (sold separately)

    A great upgrade

    solohvs

My 2016 R1200GS had a squeaky little horn just like most other bikes. I’m not one to add unnecessary modifications to the electrical system, but this item is plug and play – no extra wires and no relay. The horn is durable and well made. The sound is loud enough for my liking and has a great tone. On my bike the horn was a near perfect fit for the factory location and the optional wiring connector made swapping horns a 30 minute install – 20 minutes of which were getting the tools ready and then cleaning up. The results were fantastic. No wires were CUT so the process is reversible. The horn was mounted in the exact same spot as the original. And the Denali SoundBomb lives up to it’s name! Really LOUD.

I would highly recommend this modification to replace any factory horn.
A very satisfying experience and the CAN BUS connector was icing on the cake.

    Great for the CB500X

    Dave1899

The Denali Soundbomb Mini was an easy Plug-N-Play install and is quite loud compared to the OEM horn. It mounted in the same place as the original using the same wires with minimal adjustment of the original mounting bar and wires. I did have to bend the connection tabs on the horn as well.

    Soundbomb greatness!

    Crashjohnson

Just got this and its great! Way louder than stock and the tone is much lower. Just what I need for commuting on Dallas/Fort Worth freeways. Now the cars will hear me!

Shipping was fast. Installation was easy; two minutes maximum.

  5. Antares

    Works as advertised!

    Antares

I got this horn as a replacement to my OEM horn that was way too quiet and high pitched for my liking; I needed a horn where I could be heard.

Between this and the Dual tone Soundbomb, the folks at TwistedThrottle suggested this one and installation was a breeze. This mounts directly where the OEM horn went and connectors just go straight on. I had to fiddle with the positioning though, as the Soundbomb Mini IS a little taller and wider than my OEM one. After i got the positioning right though, it’s awesome and I would recommend this for anyone looking to get a louder horn for safety but don’t want to fiddle around with wires and whatnot.

Horn was fairly easy to fit on my new Triumph Bonneville 120 and is much better than the miserable squeaker that came on the bike.

    Better than stock

    moeless

This was bought to replace the stock meeper that had already been replaced under warranty once. It has a deeper and louder tone that should be easier to hear provided the other distractions are not too overpowering. I almost never use the horn other than to wake someone up at a green light. If there is an issue in traffic, I am busy dealing with it and don’t have time or interest in “toodling” a horn. For the price, this is a good unit if it lasts. Only time will tell on that point.

    MotoJerry

My Denali SoundBomb motorcycle horn arrived as promised and in perfect condition. Installation on my NC700X was a breeze. Now, when I hit the horn button, it says “lok out here I am” instead of “meep-meep”. It’s quite a noticeable improvement!

    Now you will hear me!

    CJD

I was looking for a replacement for the OEM horn on my 2015 Yamaha Super Tenere. Came across this item and liked the fact that it didn’t require any additional mounting or wiring. It arrived when promised and took about 15 minutes to mount. I used the mounting bracket from the original horn, turn it to get the trumpet part pointing down and I had a new very loud horn. I had a Goldwing before which has a great horn, this is a match. Excellent product.

    Bassontap

I bought the Denali Sound Bomb today and installed it on my Honda ST1300 as soon as I got home. Big difference from stock. I used the supplied brackets and drilled one hole to match the original brackets alignment hole, wired it up using the stock connections and tried it out. Big smile on my face for $30.00.

    Great Improvement!

    dfried

I couldn’t make an air horn fit on the fork mount of my BMW F800 GT so I picked up this horn. It’s about the same diameter as the stock horn and just a little thicker. I picked up a “Repair Plug, 2 pin” from BMW so I wouldn’t have to butcher the wiring harness to hook it up ( Part Number 83 30 0 402 344 ). The installation is neat and the horn gets results!

Not perfect for my 2011 ZX10R - but works

    red serge

The right-side fork on my 2011 ZX10R will hit the Denali when turned right all the way if installed in exactly the same place as the OEM horn. The kit does come with a couple extension brackets though and I was able to use one of these to move the new horn closer to the centerline of the bike. This installation required me to attach the extension bracket horizontally to move the Denali as far to the center as possible which keeps it out of the way of the fork. The screw holding the extension bracket to the OEM brace cannot be tightened enough to keep the Denali from turning downward under its own weight though. In order to keep the extension bracket horizontal, I used safety wire from the screw bracket on the back of the Denali up to the top of the OEM horn brace above the radiator. Now when I use the Denali in traffic, other drivers no longer look for a motor scooter!

    Big improvement

    Jim Shorts

My 2003 Yamaha FZ1 has 130 rear wheel horsepower–and a stock horn that bleats like a little lamb. The Denali is much louder, and has the tone of a regular auto horn. It fit the space the stocker was in just fine. The Denali has to face downward, so my stock mounting strap wouldn’t work. The straps that come with the Denali are thin and a bit flimsy, so I sistered them together and used both of them. I’m very pleased with the horn, and feel safer with it in place.

    Good performance for the money

    ricksha84

Received my Denali Soundbomb Mini (low tone) horn quicker than expected.
It couldn’t be any easier to install. Unplug 2 wires and remove one nut to remove the pitiful stock horn. The Denali installed on the same bracket with one nut and two wire connectors that plugged onto the stock spade connectors on my bike. While the Denali isn’t as loud as an air horn or dual horn setup, it’s definitely MUCH
louder than stock and is light and easy to mount. My only small complaint is the length of the mounting stud. If you wish to use a lock washer or flat washer when mounting the horn, the threaded stud is a little on the short side. Another 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length would have been appreciated, but I managed to make it work with a little work. Would definitely recommend this item.

    Small horn, big noise

    Victor

I called TT to get advice on a horn small enough to use in the limited space available on my new Yamaha FJ-09. After the usual thoughtful discussion with the TT rep, I ordered the single Denali SoundBomb Low Tone unit. Inexpensive, small and very easy to install (15 minutes) with only one tool. Frankly I was skeptical that a single unit, instead of the usual two unit low + high tone horns would do the job-Wrong! This thing is the bomb (Sorry). It is just plain loud, and the tone is sort of intimidating. Clearly, one should not use one’s horn without reason, but if you must, And on a bike that happens from time to time, this thing will do the job of announcing your presence in no uncertain terms. Thanks TT, I’m impressed.

I think this has to be one of the best upgrades for safety without installing an air horn. This thing sounds like a car horn and is such an improvement over the OEM disc horns. The install couldn’t get any easier either. This was purchased for my 2015 Suzuki DL1000

Installed on a 2010 Bonneville, only took a couple minutes, very simple. Louder but not overwhelming, could be a bit louder. Tone is much better than the tinny sounding stocker. Because my bike came with crash bars I had to use one of the provided adapters to mount it up. If you don’t have the bars you may be able to direct mount with the Triumph hardware. Glad I did it, great deal at this price.

I just mounted this Denali horn onto my bike, and its turned my horn from a meek ‘pardon me, excuse me’ horn to a ‘HERE I AM !’ horn.
Great loud, low tone, that get’s peoples attention. I’d say its like having
