DENALI SoundBomb Mini Electromagnetic Low Tone Motorcycle Horn + DENALI Wiring Adapter – Connects SoundBomb Horns to OEM BMW Harness
Price for both: $51.28

Description

At 113 decibels, the distinct low-tone sound from the DENALI SoundBomb Mini Motorcycle Horn is twice as loud as a typical 100 decibel disc horn. Designed to be a direct Plug & Play upgrade from your factory horn, requiring no additional relay or wiring harness as long as the original horn has blade-style electrical connections and can handle the 5 amp load. When stock isn’t quite enough, be heard with the SoundBomb Mini.

Some motorcycles horn circuits are not capable of powering this 5 amp horn. If your horn circuits’ max amperage is less than 5 amps, or if you are unsure, simply add our plug-n-play harness to bypass the horn circuit and draw power directly from your battery. Also, add our standard relay as this is not included with the horn harnesses.

  3. This horn is not compatible with KTM 1190 & 1290 Motorcycles.
  4. If you are not using the BMW wiring adapter (DNL.WHS.10100), a CANsmart controller or plug-n-play relay harness are required for installation (sold separately)

    A better horn - 07 DL650 Weestrom (4 1/2 stars)

    SocialBoy

With considerable patience managed to fit onto the factory bracket for stock horn. Created a couple of wire leads to connect horn to bikes existing wiring. Hope the plastic can handle the spot right behind the the rad. Would recommend you acquire a ratcheting wrench if you are installing on an older wee. Tight space very limited working area…I had minimum throw range for wrench while tightening the supplied nut. You will have to bend the stock bracket, without removing it from bike. Persever, it can be done. Two bevy job!

    Pretty loud

I have a Yamaha FJR 1300 that I wanted louder horn for. They fit were I needed to and are pretty loud. Not as loud as my truck but still way better than the stock horn.

  6. Jake

Loud SOB. Like a car horn.

    Jake

I installed this on my son’s Intruder since his original horn sounded like an anemic kitten mewling. I is bigger than the original, so had to get creative with the mount angle to avoid the fender hitting it with full suspension travel. We HAD to use a relay to provide adequate current since the existing horn circuit was no where near beefy enough. It only clicked hooking to existing wiring. Plan on a relay with older bikes with little pancake horns. 4 stars only since it wasn’t plug and play. 5 stars on volume improvement. Son was nearly merged into twice by texting idiots and this horn got their attention NOW.

    Nice and LOUD

This is my second one. I lost the first one when my GPS took me over a mountain in WV on a dirt road that turned into a stream, on a road bike! I like this horn so much I am replacing it. I really missed it. Cars respond to it.

  8. Trumpy_Thruxton

This horn will need a relay!

    Trumpy_Thruxton

Despite being advertised not to require a 30amp relay, it will need one, as there was not enough power getting to it on my 2013 Thruxton which is 3.5amp draw. Also it was missing the mounting bracket. Fabbed a better mount myself and wired in the relay and it is the bomb- literally. Loud as a car horn. 4-Stars for the product but 5-stars for Twisted Throttle who stood by the product and gave me a credit for the missing parts and install inconvenience since it was advertised as plug and play. I recommend Twisted Throttle in any transaction.
