Description
Replace the original horn on your motorcycle with the attention grabbing DENALI SoundBomb Compact Dual-Tone Air Horn Kit. As the name implies the SoundBomb emits a loud blast that is nearly impossible to ignore by even the most distracted motorists and with 120 decibels of sound output measured at 3 feet the SoundBomb is 4 times louder than a standard motorcycle horn. Designed specifically for motorcycles this horn is vibration and weather proof and is finished in black to blend in with your machine. Complete with a rugged wiring harness that includes an inline 30amp fuse and relay socket this kit is plug and play for all motorcycles that have blade style horn wiring connections and includes extra connections for those that do not. Avoid being a statistic by alerting others with the SoundBomb Compact Dual-Tone Air Horn Kit by DENALI.

Note:
All necessary mounting hardware is included with the split horn to mount the compressor to an existing M8 thru hole and the acoustic unit to an existing M6 thru hole. For some motorcycle models bike-specific mounting brackets are available.
Fitment note:
KTM Motorcycles: The CAN bus system found on most KTM motorcycles is extremely sensitive. Its recommended that you leave the OEM horn connected for proper operation and to prevent failure lights from appearing on the dash.
BMW Motorcycles: All modern BMW motorcycles use a specialty connector at the OEM horn connection. A DENALI Horn Wiring Adapter is necessary for plug-n-play connection with BMW Motorcycles and is available for purchase (P/N:DNL.WHS.10100). Alternatively you can use the Posi-Tap connectors to make the connection

I had a tradition on using special air horns and lights on my vehicles. When I restarted my passion on motorbikes, I studied the market for aftermarket accessories on both items. My first Soundbomb was fitten on a BMW F 800 GSA. My only complaint with Denali would be the absence of a support for this bike. I had one made for the bike (special plate that went under the front fender). It worked great. Everyone got to know me for the special HELLO- SOUND that I would share with friends. Countless times it saved me from small and high end traffic risks. One time that I did not use it, was followed by a crash. Sold that bike, and bought a used R 1200 GSA. The installation was a “breeze”; thank you for the support for this bike, and only mistake- cables were the wrong way / Horn did not sound as it “should”. Customer Service worked like a charm and were able to help me out and fix the problem. SPECIAL KUDOS TO DENALI FOR THE HORN- SIMPLY FANTASTIC AND TWISTED THROTTLE, FOR EXCELLENT SUPPORT. DEFINITELY A MUST ON ANY BIKE!!

Equipment Used
Denali Cansmart Used for Innovv K2 install also.
Replaced HD horn.
Remove the fuel tank to get access to the wiring tray.
Because of the Rubber mount for the HD horn had to remove it. Probably still use it, may need two 5/16″ nuts. M8 will not work.
Remove horn bracket from cylinders.
Because rubber mount has two threads
1. For Horn
2. For bracket
Easiest way to remove from bracket is to put bracket in vice and use multi grips to unscrew the side that connect to the bracket.
M8 did not fit got a 5/16″ bolt and nut from hardware store
Mounted to bracket
Used nut as lock nut and blue loctite used
Mounted bracket on cylinders.
Used Denali horn cable. Tied up the HD horn cable to existing cables

You have to remove the horn bracket from the cylinders.

Horn doesn’t work.
Directions shouldn’t even be necessary but your instructions manage to raise more questions than answers.
Bottom line is, My existing horn wires work fine when tested where they connect to your harness. Same Wire When tested on other side of harness at the plug that Relay plugs into, Nothing.
Hot and Functional going into your harness and disappears before it reaches other end.
Been a very non-pleasing and painful experience over past few months using limited free time trying to outfit a couple bikes with products from you guys that don’t get finished because of issues with product and/or description . Never an answer when I call. Think you could please respond to me via phone?? Would like to chat about the lock boxes I bought with locks that don’t have the holes drilled for lock barrels to be installed also. Standing By. Thanks in Advance.

I have also back-ordered DENALI D4 2.0 TriOptic LED Light Kit with DataDim Technology × 1 as well as the mount which is currently out of stock and is due to ship sometime in February 2021. I have noticed that I have omitted to purchase the specific mount (which is currently out of stock) DENALI SoundBomb Compact Horn Mount For BMW F750GS ’19 & F850GS ’19
for BMW F850 GS. Is there a method whereby I can purchase the requisite mount and have it sent to me with the Denali D4s in February 2021. This will save me having to pay for two shipping costs. I await to hear from you. Regards Christopher Mellor

I bought the Denali Sound Bomb for my 2013 super tenere. I also bought the mount kit and wire harness, trying to make it as easy on myself as I could. I’m not good when it comes to wiring.
