Good wiring kit but could be better

    MTNFSH

I bought the plug-n-play wiring kit to make installation of the Denali Soundbomb easy on my Triumph. It serves its purpose but I encountered two issues. First the instructions are little more than a picture of the unit with no details so helpful if you have done this before. This was my third install of a horn over the years so I got past the lack of instructions. The bigger issue is the the plug-n-play connector is not very sturdy. It took many a number of hours of troubleshooting and mistaken efforts to replace what I thought were bad relays before I spotted that one of the female electrical connectors in the kit had been pushed down by the relay prongs so it wasn’t making a good connection. Once I held the connectors in place so they could not slip down, I was able to get the relay firmly fitted in the kit and the horn now works reliably. I would recommend the product but hopefully others can learn from my experience to look for the connectors not being firmly in place if they encounter a similar problem.

    Loud!

    N1K

Purchase this product for a 2016 Ninja 1000… Very loud as advertised only downside very bulky and took a bit of time to squeeze into the front fairing. Quick Connect kit was fantastic although I think there is a bit too much wiring… had to spool it up and twist tie it. Overpriced like most Denali products.

    Simplify’s the installation

    mxhead69

Do yourself a favor and order this with your horn. It makes the installation so easy it should be outlawed! All kidding aside, it’s a quality harness that makes wiring up your horn a breeze. There’s plenty of wire length, almost too much, so you don’t have to worry about it being too short, you just have to wrap up some extra length with a zip tie somewhere out of the way. I highly recommend using this harness for any horn install.

    New packaging

    Mikethebike

Ive bought quite a few of these over the years. Until this order, I never had to worry about what went there. But there is no better wiring diagram than where to connect a wire. Nothing tells you what colors go where. I’ll be able to sort it out, Ive done enough of them, but unless you go back and read about this loom, a newbie would be lost.

    Ekgar

The wire harness definitely made the Denali sound bomb install go smoothly. A little longer than it had to be for my application and route (under the tank of my Indian Scout) but better too long than too short

    Simple Install

    Cabo Jack

Plug and play! Some of the wires are going to be too long but nothings perfect. Stick what you don’t need under the tank and off you go.

    Made install much easier.

    boatmeister

This harness is a great way to install the soundbomb on any bike without having to deal with a jumble of wires. It would have been nice to have a better wiring diagram as far as color codes but if you are slightly mechanically inclined it will be easy to figure it out. My install is on a 2014 R1200GS LC. Everything tucked in nice and neat without having to modify the harness at all.

    Tony D

Would have taken a lot longer to install the Sound Bomb without it! Literally Plug N Play.

    Near Perfect

    gorbage

Near perfect harness. All wires are plenty long enough if you route along the factory wiring harness. In fact, they are way too long in most cases. You will have to be creative in securing the extra wiring (the only downside). I cannot say it was quick to route and secure the wires onto the bike but the connections themselves are flawless and very fast. Not having to worry about cutting, stripping, splicing, and crimping made it worthwhile.

    Easy is good

    Sandy

Third horn on a bike and while someone with the bits pieces and parts could do the same thing cheaper, I do not have electrical pieces laying around like I have other common hardware. This wiring and the bike-specific bracket may cost you near the cost of the horn, but what is your time worth? The right bracket and this wiring setup makes installs a breeze. So just get it and make preemptive noise at intersections and blind turns. These wires to a Stebel horn is guaranteed to stop the text-while-driving m*r*ns.

    Easty plug and play

    Batman

i bought the denali sound bomb and wiring harness. Very easy to install however they include a small ground wire separate from the harness. there was no easy access to a grounding screw. had to use a longer wire to go to battery. don’t know if this is prevalent or not. the denali horn sounds like the hold 68-72 dual horns that Cadillacs had back in those days.

I have had several air horns before and the Plug-N-Play made the easiest one to install by far. It just took a few minutes and I was done!!!

Last 2 were from Twisted Throttle. Delivery was very quick. If it’s my 5th one I must like them. Sound like a Semi in close quarters and they DO hear you. Strongly recommended.

    Wiring Harness

    coloradotiger

I got tired of the wimpy stock horn on my Triumph Tiger 10505 and installed a SoundBomb horn. This wiring harness kit made it very easy. Simply figure out where you want to mount it, then figure out the wiring path back to the battery, connect, and go!!

I bought this because it professes to make it so easy. It might be if you already know what to do and how to do it. I, however, do not. Its just a bunch of wires to me. The instructions are useless and there is no web support.
