Ask a Question
David Anderson –
How do you recommend wiring the Denali sound bomb when using a Rowe amp link. I’m installing the amp link on my 2012 Yamaha super Tenere. I’ve read that you can’t run the sound bomb with a single circuit off of the amp link. I have read that you have to use two circuits because the max on anyone circuit on the amp link is 20 A and the sound bomb will trip that circuit on the amp link. My thought would be to use two circuits both set to ground trigger but I’m wondering how to hook my horn button enter that set up. With the current set up using the relay a wire from the Previous horn wiring is used to trigger the relay and run the horn. I’m just not finding anything on the amp link manual or anywhere else that I can find that says which wire or how to use the wire from the horn switch to activate the sound bomb. What can you tell me?

I am not familiar with the amplink product, but using the DENALI harness will only require tapping the signal wire from your stock horn and connecting your power source (battery, amplink, etc).
